Description:
When a customer calls in and wants to work remotely - on their iPhone or iPad and needs us to set up a VPN connection to their pharmacy so that they may have access to their PMS server

Required Information:
WRITTEN approval from the pharmacy owner to allow the VPN connection, Pharmacy IP, PSK, and Remote Dial-in username and Password

The first step you’re going to need to take would be to set up the VPN account on the DrayTek.

For setting up an iPad/iPhone, you’re going to need to use the following settings (IKEv2 EAP MUST be unchecked, along with L2TP)

When setting up the VPN on the iPhone, you’re going to need the type to be set to IPsec. The description would be the connection name, server would be the IP address, account and password would be the username and password, and the Secret is the Pre-Shared Key

Once you’re connected, you’ll see the VPN status says connected.

If you press the (i) next to the VPN once connected, you can see some data regarding your connection.

Once connected, you should see the connection turn green on the DrayTek under Remote Dial-in users.
